I don't know if you've ever seen VCU's Pollack building but it is pretty ugly. For our first assignment in class, he wanted us to shoot around the photography building because he said if we can make a nice picture out of such an ugly location, we are off to a good start. I hope I'm off to a good start because this is one aspect of photography I need the most help in. Photojournalism. I want to do it, but I am not very good. I feel like I am getting a better grasp on it now though...but I have a lot of work to do to get it down as good as I want. We had to shoot 4 final images. 1 indoor with natural light/1 outdoor with natural light; 1 indoor with a reflector/1 outdoor with a reflector. The girl (Amy) is outdoor with a reflector (the colors translate poorly on Firefox) and the boy (Griffin) is indoor with natural light.
